Dave Barbieri is an FFI Certified Fly-Casting Instructor and licensed guide with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. An avid outdoorsman, he grew up fly-fishing the Yuba, and has more than 35 years of fly-fishing experience on the trout rivers of Northern California, as well as some of the best trout streams west of the Rockies. Dave guides the Lower Yuba and the Feather river, his target species are Steelhead, Trout, American Shad and Stripers.
I take pride in sharing my personal experience on the river with fellow fly-fishers. From teaching basic fly-casting and fly-fishing techniques to advanced angling concepts, my goal is to increase your knowledge of the sport, and provide you with a relaxing and pleasurable experience.
